Discovery Preparatory Academy ignites purpose by cultivating academic excellence, integrity, leadership, and growth. We believe every student can achieve at high levels when learning is rigorous, supportive, and purpose-driven.

The Academy is governed by the Project One Focus Board of Directors and led by the Superintendent and School Leadership Team. The Board provides policy oversight and financial accountability, while school leadership ensures day-to-day operations, instructional quality, and accreditation compliance.

Our educational program includes:

Curriculum is aligned with state standards and reviewed annually. Instruction combines asynchronous coursework in our LMS with synchronous opportunities for collaboration, tutoring, and feedback.

We measure student progress through:

• Formative and summative assessments
   
• Project-based learning opportunities
   
• Progress reports and teacher feedback
   
• Data-driven interventions when mastery falls below expectations
   

Student performance data is used to refine instruction and improve outcomes.

The Academy maintains written plans for:

• Data privacy and protection
   

These are reviewed annually and communicated to staff, students, and families.
