Equal opportunity
Non-Discrimination Policy
Discovery Preparatory Academy welcomes students and families from every background. We are committed to an educational community where each student is treated with dignity and given a fair opportunity to learn and grow.
Statement of non-discrimination
Discovery Preparatory Academy admits students of any race, color, and national or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. The Academy does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, or national and ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, tuition-assistance programs, athletic programs, or other school-administered programs.
Equal opportunity
Consistent with applicable federal, state, and local law, Discovery Preparatory Academy does not discriminate against any student, family, applicant, or employee on the basis of race, color, national origin, ethnicity, ancestry, sex, age, disability, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by law. This commitment applies across admissions, enrollment, access to programs and services, the provision of educational and extracurricular activities, tuition assistance, and employment.
Students with disabilities
Discovery Preparatory Academy is committed to supporting students who learn differently and to making reasonable accommodations so that qualified students can access our programs. Families who would like to discuss accommodations, individualized support, or an existing plan are encouraged to contact the Academy so we can understand a student's needs and what we are able to provide. You can learn more on our Student Support page.
Reporting a concern
Any student, family member, or employee who believes they have experienced or witnessed discrimination or harassment is encouraged to report it promptly to the School Administration. Reports are taken seriously, reviewed fairly, and handled as confidentially as the circumstances allow. The Academy prohibits retaliation against anyone who raises a good-faith concern or takes part in a review.
